The Freeze Pipe seems to be popping up everywhere right now. It’s a glass pipe that fills up with liquid. To use it, you put it in the freezer for one hour and let the liquid freeze. Supposedly, the frozen liquid delivers ice-cold hits. But, is it worth the money, and does it live up to the hype? I bought one to find out.
First impressions
My first impression of the Freeze Pipe is that the design is awesome. It’s a little bit heavier than most pipes since it’s filled with liquid but the weight of the pipe is not a detractor. Furthermore, it has thick glass and it seems very well-built. Every person that has seen it has asked questions about it. $65 is pretty expensive for a pipe, considering there are decent bongs out there for around $50.
Does the Freeze Pipe Work?
The Freeze pipe works the same way as an ice-catcher on a bong. The smoke passes through the frozen liquid and leaves the smoke feeling ice cold. Usually, pipes tend to be pretty harsh, but the Freeze Pipe is one of the best pipe experiences I’ve had. It’s extremely smooth. It’s something I keep going back to since it’s so quick and easy to use. No cleanup or anything once you’re done.
The only downside, in my opinion, is the fact that you have to leave it in the freezer for exactly one hour. You can’t leave it in the freezer for any longer otherwise the pipe could break and you can’t leave it in for any less since the liquid won’t freeze. This can be pretty inconvenient because sometimes you may not have 1 hour, or if you’re like me, you’ll just want to put it in the freezer overnight, which isn’t possible. Also, I’ve noticed that after using it a few times the liquid starts to melt a little bit. Maybe it’s just me, but the first hit always seems to be the coldest.

Final thoughts of the Freeze Pipe
The Freeze Pipe is quickly becoming one of my favourite pieces and I would definitely recommend it. It’s not something that I would take with me when I’m going out, but it is a nice alternative to smoking out of bongs or joints. $65 is pretty expensive for a pipe, and it’s not going to be something that you can use anywhere and everywhere, but it is worth the money. An easy way to tell if you’re going to like this piece without buying it is by smoking out of a bong with ice-cubes in it. If you like that, you’re going to like this.

Yes I ordered on December 15th 2022 and as of 1/7/2023 I have yet to receive the pipe or a valid tracking number.I am VERY PISSED!
Buyer beware!!!! They don’t accept refunds, not surprising when you find out the bong clogs and you can’t pull smoke through the glycerin tube. I even paid more for the Ash Catcher, great reviews on their site. Nope, didn’t help at all. I now have an expensive piece of junk.

I just received my Freeze Pipe, and I’d like to share my impressions.
First, some background: In terms of how much I smoke, an ounce lasts me approximately 3-4 months. I have smoked nearly every day for the past 4 years. I normally smoke through a single stage water bong, but I also have a dry smoke pipe. The water bong is “acceptable”, although my wife – who is not a smoker – still finds it too harsh (that’s why she doesn’t smoke). I don’t need to tell any of you smoking through the dry pipe is very harsh. I have never tried using ice cubes to cool the smoke.
Now on to the product:
First, shipping was very fast – less than a week. As others have noted, packaging was superb. Again, as others have noted, this pipe is extremely well constructed. It feels substantial in your hand. I immediately put my pipe in the freezer for 2 hours before using it.
Not gonna distort the truth, I thought all the reviews were hyped nonsense. I looked at the relatively short length of coil the smoke must pass through and thought, “There’s no way that’s gonna cool the smoke substantially.”
But after that first hit…..Damn was I wrong. I would liken the difference as being similar to the difference between smoking a Camel non-filter to smoking a light menthol cigarette. Even my wife was thoroughly impressed.
This product performs at advertised and far better than I thought it would. And honestly, their price-point is just about perfect.
Pick one up, you won’t be disappointed.
You can leave it overnight it won’t bust..i have pipe and recycler. it says at “least” or minimum 1 hour. I do 2 or 3 hours way cooler and smooth hits compared to 1 hr. some I know leave it overnight but I clean mine every use my recycler as well.
Don’t buy FRAUDPIPE they are a con artist company that will take your money and lie to you by sending out email stating your package has been shipped 5 complaints and 1 investigation underway had to be done for them to reach back out to me. Very inadequate company, the glassware looks amazing and probably is, but if these con artist are charging over $200 for some glass, it better also provide great costumer service.
I’m sorry you had a terrible time with them. My anecdotal experience has been different. I got their beaker bong with a freeze coil attachment. After breaking the coil by dropping it (because I’m a clumsy fool), I went ahead and ordered 2 new coils (you can order spare parts separately from their web store). When one of these coils arrived broken (there was like a kink in the coil or something that prevented good airflow), I emailed customer support with pictures and I had a replacement within the week.
